What is D-Limonene? It is a colourless liquid hydrocarbon and is the major component in the oil of citrus fruit peels. It is a chiral molecule, and biological sources produce one enantiomer. The principal industrial source, citrus fruit, contains D-limonene, which is the (R)-enantiomer. Racemic limonene is known as dipentene. The D-isomer occurs more commonly in nature as the fragrance of oranges and is used as a flavouring agent in food manufacturing.
Consistent Quality: We provide only high-quality D-Limonene Natural ensuring reliable and consistent performance for all applications.

Fragrances
It is added to perfumes and cleaning products, such as hand cleansers, to give a lemon or orange fragrance and for its ability to dissolve oils. In contrast, the other enantiomer of limonene has a piny, turpentine-like odour.
Cleaning
D-Limonene is used as a solvent for cleaning purposes, such as adhesive remover, or the removal of oil from machine parts.
Histology
In preparing tissues for histology or histopathology, D-limonene is often used as a less toxic substitute for xylene when clearing dehydrated specimens.
