Isopropyl Alcohol 99.9% ACS
Please note that we have received a huge number of orders for products related to the Corona Virus. Please be assured that we will honour every single order in our system.
We have switched off ordering via our website due to a number of huge orders having been placed which has lead to our production levels running at full capacity. We hope to start accepting orders again soon once production levels return to a manageable level.
Many of our Amazon orders are down as late dispatch. When the surge of orders started, this was mostly via our Amazon platform to begin with and around 4 months worth of orders came in within a 24 hour period. We have since put the listings out of stock to help ease the order flow while we work to clear back orders. Please be assured we have stock and will ship asap.
Most orders are still within dispatch time as we increased dispatch times dramatically as soon as we realised the extent of the surge. We have since put our high volume listings out of stock while we work to clear back orders.
We do work by oldest order first. We don't have the facility to prioritise customers above others and believe this to be bad practice. We are an honest and upfront company and prefer to state where possible accurate dispatch times across our platforms. Please be assured we have plenty of stock to clear existing orders. Once we have returned our production levels to a more manageable level, we will be imposing quantity based limits to keep things fair for everyone.
We are committed to helping all our customers through this difficult time and we wish you all good health
The vast majority of isopropanol is still used in industrial settings, both as a solvent and as an intermediate. This compound is also a popular ingredient in many disinfectant and personal care products, but household applications represent only a small fraction of overall isopropanol production. Isopropanol can dissolve a wide range of non-polar products. It evaporates quickly leaving no residue and it’s relatively non-toxic when compared to ethanol or other alternative solvents which make it an ideal product to use as a cleaning solution and for disolving oils. It can also be used for cleaning delicate parts during manufacture of electric and electronic devices, and stain removal in various products, such as fabrics, cotton and wood.
Some examples of small-scale applications
