What is Aluminium Sulphate? Also known as alum, it is a chemical compound with the formula Al₂(SO₄)₃. It's a white, crystalline powder that is soluble in water. It has various uses, including water purification, as a mordant in dyeing and printing textiles, and as a pH adjuster for garden soil.

Consistent Quality: We provide only high-quality Aluminium Sulphate, ensuring reliable and consistent performance for all applications.

Shipped from Manchester, UK Facility: Sourced and packaged in non-toxic, chemical-resistant containers to ensure safe handling and preserve product quality during transport.

Frequent Uses

Water Treatment
A common flocculant used in water treatment plants, causing suspended particles in water to clump together, forming larger particles that settle out or are easier to filter.

Textiles
Acts as a mordant in dyeing and printing textiles which helps the dye adhere to the fabric fibers, making the colour more permanent.

Gardening
Used to lower the pH of garden soil, making it more acidic, which is beneficial for certain plants like hydrangeas, azaleas, and rhododendrons.

Construction
Can also be used in concrete as a waterproofing agent and accelerator.
