It's a key industrial chemical, primarily used as a precursor in the production of a wide range of products, including dyes, pharmaceuticals, herbicides, and rubber chemicals.

Frequent Uses

Dyes
It's a crucial component in the synthesis of many dyes and pigments. 

Pharmaceutical
Used in the production of acetanilide, a precursor for several drugs like phenazopyridine and sulfa drugs, and also as a precursor in penicillin synthesis. 

Rubber Manufacturing
Aniline derivatives are used as rubber accelerators. 

Polymers
A key ingredient in the production of methylene diphenyl diisocyanate (MDI), which is used in polyurethane foams.
