The American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) Specification E 100 describes hydrometers using the API (American Petroleum Institute) scale and others in degrees Specific Gravity. The following hydrometers are adjusted at 60°F for heavier liquids of medium surface tension. All hydrometers can be supplied with UKAS certification, certificate traceable to recognised national standard or statement of conformity, if required.
