A ready to use 10% solution of buffered formalin.

It is the most commonly used general purpose routine fixative for tissue specimens.

This solution is hypotonic in buffer ions and has a pH of 6.8, and tends to reduce the formation of formalin pigment.

Contains:
Formaldehyde: <10% w/v (3.8-4.0% v/v)
Mixed Phosphates

Hazard Phrases: Harmful if swallowed. May cause an allergic skin reaction. Suspected of causing cancer .
