What is Calcium Sulphate di-Hydrate? Commonly known as gypsum, it is a soft sulphate mineral with the chemical formula CaSO₄·2H₂O. It's widely used as a fertiliser and in various construction materials like plaster and drywall. Gypsum is also found in nature, often in evaporite deposits, and can be mined or synthesised.
