Biological Dye

General

Eosin B is a readily water-soluble, red dye with a green fluorescence ( Lambdamax. 514 nm), which is commonly used in histology and microbiology. The dye binds in the acidic pH range (pH 2.5 - 3.5) to proteins. This complex absorbs light at 536 - 544 nm.
