What is Iron (II,III) Oxide Synthetic? It is a blackish, powdery substance that consists of a mixture of iron(II) oxide (FeO) and iron(III) oxide (Fe2O3). It is commonly referred to as magnetite or black iron oxide due to its magnetic properties and deep black colour. The synthetic version is produced through a chemical process that results in a high level of purity

Consistent Quality: We provide only high-quality Iron (II,III) Oxide, ensuring reliable and consistent performance for all applications.

Shipped from Manchester, UK Facility: Sourced and packaged in non-toxic, chemical-resistant containers to ensure safe handling and preserve product quality during transport.

Frequent Uses

Iron Production
The overwhelming application of iron oxide is as the feedstock of the steel and iron industries, e.g., the production of iron, steel, and many alloys.

Pigments and Dyes
Sometimes used as a dark red pigment in certain industries.

Welding
Involved in the thermite reaction, used in welding steel.

Catalysis
Utilised as a catalyst in several processes, including water treatment and cleaning exhaust gases.
