What is Lithium Hydroxide Monohydrate? It is an inorganic compound with the formula LiOH. It is a white hygroscopic crystalline material. It is soluble in water and slightly soluble in ethanol, and is the weakest base among the alkali metal hydroxides. It is available commercially in anhydrous form and as the monohydrate (LiOH.H2O), both of which are strong bases.

Consistent Quality: We provide only high-quality Lithium Hydroxide Monohydrate, ensuring reliable and consistent performance for all applications.

Shipped from Manchester, UK Facility: Sourced and packaged in non-toxic, chemical-resistant containers to ensure safe handling and preserve product quality during transport.

Frequent Uses

Batteries
A crucial component in the production of cathode materials, like lithium cobalt oxide (LiCoO2) and lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4), used in rechargeable lithium-ion batteries.

Lubricants
Used as a thickener in high-temperature greases.

Carbon Dioxide Adsorption
Employed in life support systems for submarines and spacecraft to remove carbon dioxide.

Polymerisation
Catalyst for polymerisation reactions, heat transfer medium, and in the synthesis of other lithium compounds.
