What is Magnesium Hydroxide? Chemical formula Mg(OH)₂, it is a high-purity inorganic compound commonly used in pharmaceutical, industrial, and environmental applications. It is also known by alternate names such as Milk of Magnesia, Magnesia Hydroxide, and Magnesium (II) Hydroxide. This white, odourless powder is valued for its versatility, including its use as an antacid, laxative, and in water treatment processes.

Consistent Quality: We use only carefully sourced Magnesium Hydroxide, ensuring reliable and consistent performance for a wide range of applications in the pharmaceutical, industrial, and environmental sectors.

Shipped from UK Facility: Sourced and packaged in non-toxic, chemical-resistant containers, ensuring safe handling and consistent quality for our customers.

Frequent Uses

Water Treatment
Used in water treatment processes to neutralise acidic waters and to soften hard water. It is particularly effective in controlling pH levels in wastewater and in removing impurities such as heavy metals.

Industrial Manufacturing
Utilised in the manufacture of flame retardants, particularly for polymers and plastics. Its high thermal stability makes it an effective additive in materials that require resistance to fire.
