What is Manganese (metal) electrolytic? Often referred to as electrolytic manganese metal (EMM), it is a form of manganese produced through an electrolytic process. This process involves the extraction of manganese from its ore (usually manganese dioxide, MnO2) and its subsequent refinement into a high-purity metallic form.

Consistent Quality: We source only high-quality Manganese (metal) Electrolytic, ensuring consistent and reliable performance in both laboratory and industrial applications.

Shipped from Manchester, UK Facility: Sourced and packaged in secure, chemical-resistant containers to guarantee safe handling during transport.

Frequent Uses

Steel Manufacturing
EMM is a critical addition to steelmaking processes, acting as a deoxidiser and desulphuriser, and improving strength, toughness, wear resistance, and corrosion resistance in both stainless steel and high-strength low-alloy steels.

Non-Ferrous Alloys
It's a significant component in the production of non-ferrous alloys, such as aluminum-manganese alloys (especially for beverage can sheets) and copper-manganese alloys.

Welding
Used in the production of flux mixtures for welding rods.

Batteries
An important raw material for lithium-ion batteries used in power tools, electric bikes, consumer electronics, and for energy storage systems in solar and wind power.
