Pentane 95% HPLC is a high-purity solvent that is ideal for use in High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) applications. It is a clear, colourless liquid with a characteristic odour, and a boiling point of 36°C.
Pentane 95% HPLC is manufactured to meet the stringent specifications required for HPLC analysis. It contains a minimum of 95% pentane and has low levels of impurities, such as water and other organic solvents, that could interfere with HPLC analysis.
This high-quality solvent is commonly used as a mobile phase component in HPLC separations of hydrophobic molecules. It is also used as a cleaning solvent for laboratory glassware and equipment.
