Sterlitech Polyester (PETE) Membrane Filters, Transparent, 0.4 µm, 47 mm Diameter
Sterlitech transparent PETE (polyester track etched) membrane filters with a 0.4 µm pore size are designed for applications requiring precise particle retention, optical clarity, and enhanced solvent resistance. Manufactured from a thin, translucent polyester film, these membranes are well suited to blood assays, microscopy, fluorescence imaging, and general laboratory filtration where visual inspection and analytical accuracy are essential.
PETE membranes are produced using a controlled two-step track etch process, allowing tight control over pore size and pore density. The smooth, flat surface supports accurate particle counting, imaging, and fluorescence techniques, while the polyester substrate provides improved chemical compatibility compared to equivalent polycarbonate membranes.
