Simax Sintered Glass Disc, Porosity 2, 10mm to 210mm Diameter, Borosilicate Glass
Simax sintered glass discs are manufactured from borosilicate glass and designed for use in filtration, gas dispersion, and structural support within laboratory glassware assemblies. The sintering process fuses precisely graded glass particles to create a rigid and uniformly porous matrix.
Porosity 2 is a medium grade, providing finer retention than Porosity 0 and 1 while maintaining practical flow rates. This balance makes Porosity 2 discs suitable for routine laboratory filtration where improved particle retention is required without excessive resistance to flow.
Available in diameters from 10mm to 210mm, these discs can be incorporated into Büchner funnels, filter crucibles, gas washing bottles, and custom fabricated glass apparatus.
