Starch & Potassium Iodide Paper: Designed to detect oxidising agents such as nitrite, free chlorine, iodine, and peroxide, this versatile test paper is also used to monitor diazotization reactions.

Convenient Form Factor: Supplied in books of 20 strips, with 10 books per pack (200 strips). Larger 10-pack options are also available, containing 10 packs of 10 books per box (2000 strips).

Measurement Parameters and Accuracy: Oxidising agents react with potassium iodide to produce elemental iodine, which then interacts with starch to form a distinctive blue-violet colour. This paper provides a clear qualitative indication of oxidising agents when used with liquid samples, drops, or moistened with distilled water for gaseous detection.
