Tin (II) chloride dihydrate 99%, is a crystalline compound commonly used in various industrial and laboratory applications. It is also known by its chemical formula SnCl2·2H2O.

This compound is characterised by its white to off-white appearance and is highly soluble in water. Its chemical structure consists of tin ions (Sn2+) bonded to chloride ions (Cl-) along with water molecules (H2O).
