What is Hexane? Hexane is an organic solvent with the molecular formula C6H14. It is a colourless liquid with a mild odour and is highly flammable. Hexane, Mixed Isomers 99% is a mixture of several isomers of the alkane, primarily n-hexane, and is commonly used as a solvent in various industrial processes. It is also known by alternate names such as n-Hexane, Hexane Isomers, and Industrial Hexane. Due to its low polarity, it is effective at dissolving nonpolar substances, such as oils, fats, and waxes. Hexane is frequently used in the extraction of vegetable oils, as well as in the cleaning and degreasing of machinery and equipment.

High-Quality Formulation: We use only carefully sourced Hexane, Mixed Isomers 99%, ensuring reliable and consistent performance for various applications in the chemical, industrial, and manufacturing sectors.

Shipped from UK Facility: Sourced and bottled in non-toxic, chemical-resistant containers, providing high-quality and trusted solutions to our customers.

Frequent Uses

Solvent in Industrial Applications
Widely used in the chemical, automotive, and manufacturing industries as a solvent for cleaning and degreasing. It efficiently dissolves oils, fats, and waxes, making it ideal for cleaning machinery and in oil extraction processes.

Extraction of Vegetable Oils
In the food industry, it is commonly used to extract vegetable oils from seeds such as soybeans and sunflower, ensuring high yields and purity of the oils.

Chemical Synthesis
As a solvent in various chemical reactions and processes, especially in the production of petrochemicals and in laboratory settings for purifying compounds.

Laboratory Applications
Due to its low polarity, it is commonly used in laboratories for chromatography, especially in the separation and analysis of nonpolar substances.
